ETI Celebrate 35 Years In Business
We are immensely proud and excited to announce the 35 year anniversary of Electronic Temperature Instruments Ltd. The company was founded by Miriam and Peter Webb in 1983, the year that Microsoft Word was released and the first commercially available mobile phone was introduced to the public.
ETI are a British Manufacturer and are proud to have stood the test of time against recessions and numerous political upheavals. In this time the company have been honoured to achieve four Queen’s Award for Enterprise, the first in 2012 for International Trading and the latest in 2018 for Innovation.
ETI is a family owned business with family values at its core. Peter and Miriam have three children Claire, Lisa and Jason, all of whom are Directors of the company. Jason, ETI’s Operations Director is very much involved in the day to day running of the business and looks forward to driving the company and brand forward over the coming years.
Electronic Temperature Instruments Ltd is the UK’s largest digital thermometer manufacturer and exporter of electronic thermometers and temperature probes. Our Thermapen thermometers are used worldwide for many different applications and are the UK’s number one selling food thermometer. Over 70% of our instruments are manufactured right here in the UK at one of our three sites in Worthing, West Sussex.
ETI are a business that enjoys giving back to our community. We have and continue to work together with Eco-friendly projects, local charities and events, educational work experience placements and a sharing of career prospects and temperature related, energy saving principles.
